Fire Protection Inspection Services
is a wholly New Zealand owned company.

Established in 1989 on behalf of the industry to provide the services previously available from the Insurance Council and the Fire Service.

Up to 1989 certification of sprinklers and alarms was done by the organisations. Industry recognised the need to undertake these services and have proven that self regulation through FPIS is the best and most consistent method of maintaining standard.
